If you're an online coach, author, or speaker using a free Gmail address for your business, I hate to break it to you, but you're making a huge mistake.
It’s so true, common sense and against business practices to not ‘brand’ yourself (as consultant), or your business. There’s one more negative side effect you left out; most spam - and I mean bad agents like fraudulent emails, use Gmail as well. So if you stick with Gmail, you actually belong in that scamming group. Ouch.
Thank you for the additon Jeroen. I get a ton cold email solicitations from people using Gmail. I always check to see where a message comes from. So many scams out there. We need to protect ourselve. If I see a cold email using a gmail address, I report it.
